Our staff are here to help you and always aim to be as polite and helpful as possible to all of our patients.
Staff work very hard to try to satisfy all patients’ request and queries. We are, however, a very busy practice and to ensure fairness to all patients, they work under protocols and policies.
The Partners of Park Practice wish to make it clear to all patient that violence, aggression, shouting, swearing and rudeness to any member of staff will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The practice has a zero tolerance policy with regards to violence and unacceptable behaviour. Any patient who is violent or abusive to any staff or other patient will be written to, their GP alerted and may be removed from our practice list. If necessary, we will also report the incident to the police.
The following are examples of unacceptable behaviour:
Violence of any kind
- Shouting in person or over the telephone
- Threatening or abusive language that includes swearing or offensive remarks
- Derogatory, racial or sexual remarks
- Malicious allegations relating to members of staff, other patients or visitors
This list is not exhaustive and will be regularly reviewed.
Whilst we appreciate that it is only a small minority of patients who may exhibit this kind of behaviour, we must make all registered patients aware of our policy relating to this.
